Equine Senior Plus from Stamina Plus

May 2013 issue

Stamina Plus Equine Senior Plus Supplement

Stamina Plus Equine Senior Plus was developed for horses twelve or more years old, those who have a poor hair coat, have diarrhea, or are underweight and poor keepers.

The feed was developed by Dr. Anthony R. Scheiber, a Cody, Wyoming-based veterinarian and nutritionist, who has been investigating equine nutrition for the past 30 years. He and his wife, Lin, own and operate an equine nutrition research facility where they have designed products to keep horses healthy well into their 30s.

As horses age, they develop problems with digesting and absorbing nutrients from their feed. These digestive problems can be due to normal aging, intestinal damage from parasites, and intestinal inflammation caused by molds, mycotoxins and infections.

Hay and pasture, supplemented with oats, is the perfect basic diet for equines. Stamina Plus has developed Equine Senior Plus supplement to provide the correct micronutrients and probiotics for proper digestion of good roughage along with oats.

Equine Senior Plus is designed to increase muscle mass, insure a healthy physiological system, meet the special nutrient needs of an older horse, and maintain healthy digestion. It should be fed at an economical 2.5 ounces per day.

All Stamina Plus products are manufactured at an FDA-approved plant.
