LMF Senior & LMF Prime Time Feeds

LMF Feeds works with Dr. Stephen Duren, Equine Nutritionist at Performance Horse Nutrition to bring horse owners in the Western States the most nutritionally-advanced horse feed in the world. LMF manufactures two feeds that are especially beneficial to senior horses:

LMF Senior is a unique total balanced diet for older horses who have chewing difficulties. It contains glucosamine for joint health, as well as fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, bio-available minerals and live yeast culture to aid in digestion and energy. Critical nutrients are presented in a highly-palatable form that horses readily consume. It provides 14% crude protein, 4% crude fat, and 20% crude fiber.

LMF Prime Time is designed specifically for the senior horse that can still chew and digest hay or pasture. It should be fed as a supplement to forage. Prime Time has elevated levels of fat, primary and trace minerals, and live yeast culture to aid digestion. Prime Time can also be used for horses requiring weight gain, especially rescue horses.

Prime Time is available in two formulations depending on the hay or other forage you feed: The alfalfa “A” formula provides 10% crude protein, 5% crude fat, and 6% crude fiber. The grass “G” formula provides 13% crude protein, 5% crude fat, and 6% crude fiber.

Ingredients especially formulated for senior equines in LMF Senior and Prime Time feeds include:

• BIOPLEX® Proteinated minerals for maximum absorption and retention. Bioplex strengthens hoof and hair condition, balances growth of bone and cartilage and aids in health maintenance.

• SEL-PLEX® Selenium — a more bio-available organic form that is better retained and offers an optimized immune response.

• YEA-SACC® —the world’s leading yeast culture specifically designed for equines. Enhances nutrient, fiber and mineral absorption; and maintains body and coat condition.

LMF Senior and Prime Time feed is ground, heat-treaed and pelleted to enhance nutrient availability.

LMF’s dedication to quality gives horse owners feed products that are second to none.
