Product Profile

Sioux Steel Hi-Country Steel Gates

& Maverick Corral Panels

May 2010 Issue

When it comes to choosing long-lasting, attractive and robust round pen or corral panels and gates, keeping yourself and your horses safe is a powerful reason for selecting Sioux Steel products.

Sioux Steel Hi-Country gates have no sharp edges, and are built with square corners, notched horizontals and heavy duty center verticals. A square-cornered top prevents a horse or rider from getting hung up between a gate and panel. Heavy-duty latches and welded, collared hinges ensure a stronger connection than clamped-on hinges.

Hi-Country gates are made from high-strength, 16-gauge steel tubing, and available in both 1.5 diameter general duty or 2 diameter heavy-duty strengths. Gates are available in 4- to 20-foot widths and 48 to 61.5 heights. A durable, attractive powder coat finish comes in either brown or prairie gold. Custom colors are available.

The economical 6-rail Maverick panel is 64 tall, and made from 1.66-inch diameter, 20-gauge, high-tensile-steel tubing, making this lightweight panel the heaviest on the market. Heavy-duty vertical bracing and square corners help keep riders and horses safe and from getting hung up between panels.

Twelve-inch mud legs keep panels off the ground and help prevent corrosion and rusting. Maverick panels come in 10- to 16-foot lengths and standard gray powder coat finish. Matching bow gates are also available.

Sioux Steel is a fourth-generation family-owned company based in Sioux Falls , South Dakota , with a well-founded reputation for providing high-quality American-made products and outstanding service.

To view other Sioux Steel livestock products such as other styles and gauges of gates and panels, continuous fencing, horse hay and cattle feeders, calving pens, feed storage hoppers and bins, horse stalls and waterers, visit www.siouxsteel.com.
